Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the rules and expectations for using ExamPilot. By accessing our platform, you agree to follow these guidelines. We ask that all users treat the platform and each other with respect.

1. Personal, Non-Commercial Use Only

ExamPilot is designed for individual, personal educational use. You may not use the platform or any content generated by it for commercial purposes, including but not limited to reselling study materials, creating competing products, or distributing content to paying audiences. If you wish to use ExamPilot in a commercial or institutional setting, please contact us to discuss licensing.

2. No Credential Sharing

Your ExamPilot account is for your use only. You may not share your login credentials with anyone else or allow others to access the platform through your account. Each user must have their own account. If we detect that an account is being shared across multiple users, we may suspend or terminate that account.

3. Academic Integrity

ExamPilot generates AI-powered study materials to help you learn and prepare for exams. You must not submit AI-generated content from ExamPilot as your own original academic work. This includes copying quiz answers, flashcard content, or AI-generated notes directly into coursework, essays, dissertations, or assessments. ExamPilot is a study aid — not a ghostwriter. Using our content in a way that violates your institution's academic integrity policies is your responsibility, and we strongly encourage honest, ethical study practices.

4. No Scraping or Automated Access

You may not use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or any other automated tools to access, extract, or download content from ExamPilot. All access must be through the standard web interface or official applications. Automated requests place unnecessary strain on our systems and degrade the experience for other users.

5. No Circumventing Tier Limits

Each subscription tier comes with defined usage limits and feature access. You may not attempt to bypass, manipulate, or circumvent these limits through any means, including creating multiple accounts, exploiting bugs, or using technical workarounds. If you need higher limits, please upgrade your plan through our Pricing page.

6. No Illegal or Harmful Content

You may not upload, share, or transmit any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. This includes content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others, contains malware or malicious code, or promotes violence or discrimination. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates this policy without notice.

7. Violations and Enforcement

Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account, at our sole discretion. In cases of serious or repeated violations, termination will occur without refund of any subscription fees. We may also report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities where required by law.
