You are trusting us with your exam prep, your card details, and your study data. Here is exactly how all three are handled — with nothing buried in fine print.

Who we are

ExamPilot is built by DocMaasi, a small team led by a founder who personally answers the support inbox. We are not a funded startup chasing acquisitions. We are a long-term project whose entire business depends on students passing their exams.

How content is reviewed

Every question, flashcard, and summary is drafted by our AI pipeline against the actual exam blueprint — NCLEX, TEAS, HESI, USMLE, CPA, Bar, GED, and 100+ others — then reviewed by a human before it reaches you. High-stakes content (licensure exams) carries an extra verification step. You can flag any item as wrong in-app; we respond within 72 hours.

Refunds, trials, and cancellation

Every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial — no charge until the trial ends. Annual plans require explicit consent before checkout and carry a 14-day refund window after the first charge. You can cancel any time from your account page in two clicks. The Exam tier auto-cancels 25 days after your exam date so you are never charged for content you no longer need.

Data, privacy, and security

Your data lives in Convex (US region) and Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1). We never sell or share study data with advertisers. You can export or delete your account from your account page. Authentication is Clerk, payments are Stripe, and both are industry-standard for consumer apps. Our full privacy + cookie policies explain in detail what we collect and why.

AI disclaimer — honest version

AI is not infallible. No study tool is, including textbooks and human tutors. We disclose it upfront: our content is AI-drafted and human-reviewed, continuously improved, and calibrated to your exam. If you find an error, report it and we fix it for every student who comes after you. That is the deal.

Response time

Support email is monitored Monday–Saturday. We aim to respond to every inquiry within 48 hours; urgent issues inside 24 hours. If your exam is less than 7 days out, write URGENT in the subject line and we will reply faster.

Accountability

Content error? Write support@exampilot.help — we investigate every flag. Billing question? Same address. Business inquiry? Same address. Security issue? security@exampilot.help. We do not hide behind a contact form. If something is wrong, tell us.
