Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident when subscribing to ExamPilot. This policy explains when and how you can request a refund.
1. 14-Day Cooling-Off Period (UK/EU Consumers)
If you are a consumer based in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of your initial purchase for a full refund, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. This cooling-off period begins from the date your subscription starts. To exercise this right, simply contact us within the 14-day window.
2. After 14 Days
After the 14-day cooling-off period has passed, subscription fees are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle.
3. Exam Tier Subscriptions
Exam-specific subscription tiers are billed monthly and are designed to align with your exam preparation schedule. These subscriptions will automatically cancel 25 days after your selected exam date. No refund is issued upon auto-cancellation, as the subscription is intended to cover your preparation period. You may cancel an exam tier subscription early at any time, but no refund will be provided for the remaining period.
4. Free Tier
The free tier of ExamPilot does not require any payment. As no charge is made, no refund applies. If you upgrade from the free tier to a paid plan, the refund terms above apply from the date of your first payment.
5. Technical Faults and Service Outages
If a technical fault on our end causes a continuous service outage lasting more than 24 hours that directly affects your account, you may be eligible for a pro-rata credit applied to your next billing cycle. This credit is calculated based on the duration of the outage relative to your billing period. Scheduled maintenance windows and issues caused by third-party services outside our control are not eligible for credit.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please send an email to support@exampilot.help with the following information:
- The email address associated with your ExamPilot account.
- The reason for your refund request.
- Any relevant details (e.g. dates of outage, subscription tier).
7. Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days of approval. Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take an additional few days for the refund to appear on your statement.
